69.08 Bulgaria: Pirin National Forest: A walk on the wild side...no, the color, cascading, magical wonderland.

It's far too easy to exaggerate, to become ecstatic of sights, of feelings, especially when the mood is positive. However, we believe we don't exaggerate (much) when we truly experience that which feels like 'out-of-world' occasions. Truth be told, they happen quite frequently making us feel spoiled rotten. Actually, we'll take them at every opportunity because we believe they are presented to all inhabitants as ongoing gifts. Perhaps, the downside is that we might not be writing our thank-you notes and showing our appreciation appropriately or accordingly.

Anyway, while we continue to ponder the various issues of life, we include another introduction of a few photographs from different hikes of the Pirin Forest. It truly is stunning, certainly the season enhances the views, and from our perspective, presents a showering of blessings. Here are a random set with some water shots to keep the appetite w(h)et.

We were silenced by the sight. (Not an issue for Jen).
Passing Muratovo Lake and heading beyond and above.
The beginning of the day: Snow, clouds, cold, Mount Vihren and the gang. The weather is a changin'.
Jen takes a walk on the 'wild' side.
Since we've been close to the top of Banderitsa, it's become quite a favorite.
Searching for way out of the gorgeous environment. Why?
Cheers,

Jenni and Jeffrey
