With regard to the cover photograph, I made the caption comment both logically and emotionally. Each time I look at the picture, or even think of it, I feel transported back to that position. As Jen walked through the deep, thick and colorful vegetation, she appeared to meld with the environment. There were 2 distinct subjects, she and the forest. Yet, in a sense, they appeared to be one.
And then we arrived in Pamporovo...hey, it's not the season yet...maybe, it's a Bulgarian issue.
The snowman cometh. Nay, it has arrived.
Gorgeous...enough written.
Where have all the clouds gone? Hang on for five minutes.
A walk on the wild side.
Mount Kutelo.
The reality is that it will lose its beauty soon; the real beauty is that it will change, recover and reach new heights in just a short while.
Bandersitsa Mountain after the first snow fall. The snow-covered sections are various paths we have followed.
Jenni returning on Banderistsa Mountain prior to the snow fall. (In the previous blog, we 'went off' about the "Umbrella Bar". It's well below Jenni but slightly right, left of the tower/lower ski-station.)
Mount Vihren.
It was a period of both introspection of where we fit, as well as being fortunate to ponder and have such a dilemma.
It's rare that we'll choose a road over a trail except when the path no longer 'exists'. Returning from Vihren Hut.
Cheers,
