69.14 Smolyan, Bulgaria. We interrupt the flow of regular blogs to bring 'A Touch of Autumn' to a Viewer. Once again, felt we were in a different dimension.

  Before proceeding with the regular blogs, we bring some color and essentially, miraculous transformations occurring as autumn descends; or it seems, ascends might be more appropriate.

  During our school years, it was the custom that when a boy had acted very poorly, the principal of the school would provide the offender with 'six of the best' (6 below). Today, that's considered too harsh, even barbaric. It made us ponder, after writing the words for the cover picture, of how effective ceasing such 'errant practice' has contributed to the 'improved behavior' we enjoy in our modern societies. 

Respect and humility for the scenes witnessed demand we make no comments of the photographs.
