A beautiful Shabbos

Hi All,
Shabbos was amazing here in this small town of Torrey, Utah. There are not too many places that one can sit in a motel room looking out a picture window at beautiful mountains bedazzled in sunlight during the day and watch the sunset in the evening.

The main road in Torrey is a little over a mile long and has the standard general store, a couple of diners, the required gift shop, a US Post Office of course, and you will never guess...... a photographic gallery owned by an Israeli, whose magnificent photographs are on display. A walk through the town had us watching the horses in the meadows, see kids swing from ropes into a nearby creek and giving directions on numerous occasions, the irony being that even at home, we are directionally challenged.

The motel owners are still probably shaking their heads as to the strange practices of the occupants of room #8. They bring their own lamps, set the tiny round table with a beautiful tablecloth, light candles, and they only left their room twice to go for short walks. Honeymooners maybe :-) They did not know how much we needed to rest after our hectic week of hiking.

Tomorrow we are heading for Colorado and new climbing challenges. Chat later...
