40.04 Nepal: A View of Mount Everest from Kala Patther.

We came to see the world's icon and were fortunate to get a number of clear views from different locations over the 13-day period on the Everest Base Camp trek. As we made our way up Kala Patther, a mountain (hill) opposite, the clouds held off until about half-way up. Good enough!

Peak XV (Everest) stares down. 'Lose the head-coverings,' it seems to suggest.

Action at Everest Base Camp.

Cheers,

Jenni and Jeffrey
