Out and about in Poway: Mount Woodson, Lakes Poway and Ramona. In San Marcos, Double Peak Mountain and some water, too.

Ocean, density and lake.

Another lake on the other side of the mountain.

'Who are you looking at, son?'. Observing an Osprey at Lake Poway (with attitude).

The damn wall of Ramona Lake...should be dam but just just in case, select your option.

Now we're talking density...or maybe, dense.

Jenni's driving me up the wall and taking the gap...thank goodness.

First stop on the way down.

Showing off its balance for the wonderful colors, at this time of year.

We think it's unique. A headless Osprey. Must have died after arrival. Obviously, did not read or understand Rudyard Kipling's "IF". (Truth be told, I think we have lost the concept of what he wrote).

Climbing up to reach the dam wall opposite Ramona. This is Lake Poway's.

Does not appear that friendly. As our late friend, Mannie Edelstein might add: "Is it something I said?"

Only representation from Mount Woodson hike.

A view of Lake Ramona, below Mount Woodson.

Looks exclusive around the water...in San Marcos (north of San Diego.)

Returning from one of my less intelligent moves but sure got the heart pumping.

Lake Ramona, a body of water near Poway Lake. There are a number of dams, lakes and reservoirs in dry San Diego that many people do not see or even know of.

Cheers,

Jenni and Jeffrey
