48.06 Arizona, Lake Havasu City: The Lizard and it's tricky sections.

One of the many hikes previously unpublished as we seem to hike more than write.

 

Jen sits on the peak of the Lizard after brunch.

An optional extra but irresistible.

In these situations, who can not help but be pleased.

In our own simple world, parts like this we refer to the 'Hillary Step', a reference to Sir Edmond's triumph on Everest. Our imaginations do take a run quite often.

Finally, through the telephoto, we meet the lizard.

The lake in the heart of the city or closest to it.

A seat with a view.

The city is larger than one expects.

After the Lizard, we continue wandering up and over the hills.
