48.32/33 California: Indio: Scenes from the 'Badlands' over 2 hiking days.

This region lies along the San Andreas fault. In times of 'activity' underground, it's probably not a good idea to be hiking in the area or playing golf at the adjacent course which is part of Wyndham Worldmark, a place at which we spent ten enjoyable days.
