61.24 :Arizona: Page: Wahweap Wandering in Wonder(land).

Jenni enjoys a good breakfast and lunch. I suggested that she ought to decide upon one or the other. So, we have for the last 14 years, selected just one. As Jenni is in charge of food preparation, we eat brunch: This is two meals in one. Sometimes, a person is very easily outsmarted. From where we are standing, we head down to the water and will find a place for brunch on a peninsular. Delightful, despite her food.
"Hurry along, Jeffrey, I'm hungry."
Because the route chosen is not a trail, one often stands above canyons having no way forward.
To the side and below, the lake/river carries on regardless.
'Now what you gonna do? Shrugging is not going to get you down for brunch.'

Earlier, I was trying to explain that if Jen could jump that much extra, she might just clear the wall. If not, no brunch for a while.
Aha! There's the peninsular. What a beautiful position. I tried to convince her that surrounded by such beauty, who needs to eat. Dumb boy!
While some might think he's a referee announcing a decision, he's actually pointing out the lake to Jenni who's mind is focused elsewhere. What an incredible sense of direction.
While a South African might think he/she is looking at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria, it's actually 'Tower Butte'. But(te) you knew that.
Oh, Dear! I thought we had completed all of the obstacles.
Aha! There was never any doubt she'd make it. After all, who can resist a mixed bowl of fruit, yoghurt and cereal, plus what a setting. The real issue: Jen's a trooper: Does us both proud!
Cheers,

Jenni and Jeffrey

Much to Jenni's chagrin, I could not resist another photograph with Castle Rock in the background.
