68.24 Andorra: Llac Querol (2), commencing the hike from our apartment as the car had a vacation day.

We commenced at ground-level for the second approach, not driving to the official trailhead. The first hike began higher up where we parked the car, making this one longer and steeper although we had added some legs to the first hike upon reaching the summit. In fact, the additional summit wandering probably evened out the length.
Jen negotiates the climb to the trailhead.
Another view of the steep ascent.
An opportunity to 'meet and greet' our neighbors. They did show a definite interest. When we reached the peak, lo-and-behold, we noticed this group led by a shepherd grazing below us.
Jen making her way up after taking leave of the forest.
Nothing spectacular on the lake front but it is a point of interest.
That's far more interesting.
Jen bypasses the lake, heading to the summit.
Height always enhances the sights.
Jen anticipates some rain.
I didn't, so instead headed for the small peak.
Apparently successful.
A view of Vall d'Encles, a place we found fascinating, far below.
A close-up of the flock that apparently followed us up.
A view of our neighborhood, El Tarter and Soldeu, from the peak.
A rock with a view or perhaps, a rocky-view.
Jen in her adopted natural habitat.
Cheers,

Jenni and Jeffrey

From the peak, we noticed the flock following us. Heck, to be so popular.
