60.40 Bulgaria, Pamporovo: Head toward the Dam, visit Orpheus again and onto other side of Snezhanka. 60.41 Mount Murgavets, Orpheus Rocks (hmm!) and down to Studenetz.

We reach the dam and then head through the trees toward the Snezhanka Tower via Orpheus Rocks and down a ski slope on the other side of the mountain. Notice the slight reflection of the tower on the surface...very 'proud' of that but then again, it's the low expectations syndrome surfacing.

Our 'home' is to the right and lower than the village/ski action station below. It was a magnificent stay so we returned 8 days after our first departure. Maybe that's why we passed Orpheus Rocks so often. Once a person is so close, how can one not go climbing.

Last week we displayed a blog showing the military base we passed at a mountain top, actually the highest of the Rhodopes. In the distance on the summit, the buildings are visible (the dome is prominent).
