60.42 Scenes from San Diego: Specifically, Mission Trails Regional Park...between postings of Bulgaria.

The photographs that follow cover eight hikes in the San Diego region, more specifically, the Mission Hills Park and its surround. We believe should you seek the premier hiking area in San Diego, then this is it. Earlier hikes/blogs covered additional mountains within the park, namely the Fortunas, Cowles, and others.

Rock climbing off trail.
Lake Murray.
Visitors' Center, Mission Hills viewed from behind the rocks.
Dropped sunglasses, the search continues.
The San Diego River, a surprisingly strong flow.
A cliff just below North Fortuna Peak.
Stooping rock, an old-age position to which we are beginning to relate.
Above the military base in Allied Gardens, a full-frontal advance.
Marines on duty.
More of Murray.
Mission Bay.
  Deftly stalking (storking) Jenni.
Boulder climbing at its best.
Lush San Diego, possibly an oxymoron.
Cheers,

Jenni and Jeffrey
