After 5 major hikes in Poland, more specifically, the national park near Zakopane, we offer the following comment.
'The region is gorgeous providing opportunities for tough and memorable hiking; the rewards are of great beauty and a high level of satisfaction when meeting the challenges.' Here are a few photographs from the region—full blogs to follow.
Kasprowy Wierch. Jen about to peak after ascending 3,500 feet (from carpark).
Returning after ascending to top of falls and beyond.
Reflecting in Poland.
The magnificent Giewont Peak, a focal point for us.
Standing on a peak and looking down upon the ridges. It's hard to explain the feeling.
Cheers,
Jenni and Jeffrey
