We would have just returned from a second trip to Nepal but for the 'bug'. Our wishes go out to Krishna and Dipak and their families.
Cute but tough as nails...the kids, too.
Unique.
Jen broods above Everest base camp.
Reached our highest altitude at 18,500 feet.
Mount Everest on the left.
Jen, 2nd right, climbing.
One of many of Fish Tail.
Nepal's going to 'the dogs'. Mardi Himal base camp at 14,500 feet.
Formidable.
About to reach base camp at Mardi Hamil after a 4:30am start. It's hard to portray the emotions running through a person after a tough climb and reaching a destination that seemed elusive. We make our own highs in life.
Sunset over another one of Fish Tail.
Namche Bazaar below as we return from a high point which they call acclimating so we can go higher the next day.
Wandering in a mystical, tough and magical place.
Oh Dear! Back to civilization.
Always on the lookout for a new vocation in Kathmandu.
Cheers,
Jenni and Jeffrey
