Utah is a favorite state of ours, always has been. Should a person not like semi-desert conditions, mountains,
boulders and rocks in many shapes, sizes, forms, colors, textures and patterns then Southern Utah is not for you.

For this presentation, we have mixed a selection of photographs, all but one from hikes we have not undertaken before.
The idea is to provide the flavor of the state pictorially. Within this group are pictures from six hikes, some strenuous,
others short but picturesque. The overriding factor for us is that each day is different, each is one of discovery of
the world around us and of ourselves. It is an incredible feeling but should not be construed as one without the challenges
of daily living that we all face.
We hope some of the rugged beauty we experience filters through these pictures, to you.

'Archangel', Angels Landing, a favorite, from ground level. In many visits, we've never noticed this setting before.
Perhaps, the tree collapsed in the last year. Anyway, we love it.
The route approaches from the left and takes one to the right-side cliff.
