Love on the Rock-ery
Hi There, Today had the potential to be a highlight, a distinctive time. Wait a minute, folks; we’ll get to it soon. The weather predictors were screaming more rain. How wrong can you be when it rains every day in this town. We headed south but our editor, always on full alert, spotted the black clouds. ‘Okay’, we agreed, ‘Let’s move in the opposite direction.’ We can be very flexible especially when we need to avoid the natural perils. We notice there are many out here. Our editor has developed an extremely sensitive eye for detail—it drives us a little ‘dilly’. The best bet is to climb the very steep Bridger Mountains again, we thought (Over 3,000 feet and 6 miles). This we do and we go up faster than ever. It is a race between the raindrops and us. We are not offering ‘odds’ today. We may not be intellectuals but we are also not stupid, we think.
