Thereafter, we'll continue to keep it local until Tenerife, as we work to achieve strength, fitness and hopefully, complete healing. A debt of gratitude to my darling nurse who forced me to undertake the procedure and then nursed me back to health, including, inter alia, washing and drying my toes daily. Just before the 6-weeks post surgery period, I became semi-independent and can now undertake those functions myself.
