An Eleventh Anniversary display of random hikes, 11 years of a mix of experiences, including but not limited to struggle, growth, stimulation, adventure - the best of years.
It's hardly a milestone (because it's so much pleasure) but Hike-about reached 11 years on May 30th. In fact, it has been a stunning period comprising a life experience as no other. Because we have written about our experiences and lifestyle on occasions, including in a book which is 4 years behind in hikes although accurate in our thinking, we will remain silent as what it has meant and the effect upon us. Clearly, there are real differences in outcome for each of two little people, but we have shared and continue to share amazing times together. Of course, there are many challenges, but our immediate issue was both in selecting and limiting the number of pictures. How does a person choose one or two photographs from a country or region visited on multiple occasions? In the end, it's random and packed with bias. It's time to take a break from the existing style of blog content. In the next while, we'll probably add meaningful pictures, or expressed different...
