41.05 Utah: St. George: Paradise Hike to Scout Cave and then some real fooling around...not in the cave...on the boulders.

We left Nevada following 4 days in the heat and arrived in Utah after traveling through a small section of Arizona. These states are gorgeous but of the fifty, I would invariably choose Utah as being unique and of great beauty, the favorite. Since we first introduced ourselves to the great Mormon state, we realized its depth, color and wonder—the fact that one might be able to have a number of girlfriends was never an influence. Nevertheless, as we sped through the Mojave desert in temperatures above 100 degrees and increasing, the great Mormon state prompted us to ponder "'America the Beautiful", how incredible is your land; what a shame we don't love our neighbors...those within the boundaries).'
