Many years ago, Trini Lopez sang a song, “If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, don’t make a pretty woman your wife.” On the presumption that it may be a true statement, what does a man say who is married to a woman who makes him happy? It’s quite a dilemma. The only answer I have is to hide the blog from the editor or hope, as she is well on in years, she ‘s forgotten all about the song. Which brings me to a comment our friend Brian made a while ago: ‘Jeffrey, all women are beautiful.’ On considering this rather unusual thought, I concur—it’s true and especially about my editor.
