10.08 Reflections below Mono Pass and Rock Creek Canyon

Image
We had work to do, in need of a little rest, shopping chores to undertake and so only headed out by mid-afternoon for a hike in the snow, with the idea of 'catching' a sunset. As mentioned before, hiking in snow is slow-going but nevertheless, a delight. We saw sights that made it worthwhile, an understatement, if ever we made one. At one stage, we felt like intruders, the only humans watching preparations being made for the evening and night. Take a winter wonderland walk with us as we watch the sun settle, shadows cast, reflections off lakes, mountains at twilight—all close to Mono Pass and Rock Creek Canyon: (Click on a picture to enlarge, it's worthwhile) We hope you enjoyed the tranquility, mystery and isolation as much as we. Cheers, Jenni and Jeffrey

Definitely a lack of discipline A Chiropractor on every trail—this office with a view, too The well adjusted hiker: Mentally prepared with 10 items, and physically ready, following office visit above Guess who we miss so much—I really needed another boss in my life. Where to now, Madam?
