Whenever we visit this region, we have an attraction for 'via ferrata', the climbing of sheer mountain walls using the hand-and-foot metal rungs, making our way to the top. I understand one should have the formal gear which includes ropes, lanyard, helmets and the rest of the equipment. It's a good idea but... Once again, we took advantage of the deserted area, climbed up-and-back and then continued onward to attain really great, colorful and exquisite sights, further ahead. There's nothing like height to give one a different perspective of the surround, usually a more attractive view than from lower levels. See what you think!
