24.03 A Wave from Valley of Fire Park, Overton, Nevada.

An early morning pre-sunrise visit to 'Valley of Fire' set the flames burning inside us as we witnessed some spectacular scenes. This follows the previous evening's sunset at this remarkable historic area in Nevada. In fact, we had occasion to walk through a slot canyon during the second hike which was far more meaningful than the notorious 'slots' of the Silver State. The two hikes, both short, provided different perspectives but meaningful. The climax of the "Fire Wave" hike was of course, the magnificent few boulders covered in wave patterns.
