64:26 Portugal: Geres: Lake Canicada stride, a view of the clouds below us.

A group of 'house-boats'. A world of clouds in a very clouded world. Looking down over the roof of a house viewing clouds high in the sky. Hmm! What's not real in the photograph? Swan Lake. A more exclusive part of the lake. Delightful. A home on land and water. A second showing of what I believe to be one of our finest photographs...bridge reflections at our best. Is that in fact water or forest? Seeking to separate reality from dreams...Why? Taking a boat-ride on a fast-building rough sky. Looking down to view above. Tranquility. A different perspective of ("our") bridge. Back to reality as we leave reflections for another place, another time. Cheers,  Jenni and Jeffrey

  Sometimes one comes across a place that has all the attributes one favors. This occurs more frequently than one might imagine. That in and of itself is wonderful. Nevertheless, then there's a place that offers even more. Often it depends on the beholder. It permeates a magical or mystical spirit, particularly out in the forests and upon the mountains. That may well be Peneda-Geres'.  Looking toward the 'swing' (left of trees) on the peak, destination of a couple of recent hikes and last week's blog (see below). The trees at the peak close to the swing. Commencement point trees which are on view from most positions on the circuit of PR7. Never enough color; we will absorb every shade gladly. Jen looks to where we are heading. Close to destination. We dropped down steeply from the church, crossed the water and are now heading to the mountain top on this side of the lake.
