9.28 Black Butte meets 'white beauty' .
We arrived in Shasta City after two days traveling through Arizona, Nevada and Northern California. Our bodies needed some exercise; hence, we took a hike up Black Butte, a particularly rocky path with an elevation gain of 1900 feet.
