New Zealand and Australia: Our last visit displaying some photographs of adventures during 2017.
The reason for publishing this blog, a selection of pictures from our last visit to New Zealand some 7 years ago, is that while one never forgets memorable experiences, it's not the same as remembering them. 'Out of sight, out of mind' is the phrase bandied around. We have visited New Zealand 7 times with Australia included in the trip twice. We loved every visit but then seemed to lose interest after conclusion of the last visit. Why? I suppose it depends on the alternatives. Discovery of new places, different cultures and the need for other challenges makes the most sense in providing an answer. Then suddenly, the thought of returning is interesting. Following a little more excitement about the idea, it becomes a must. We are probably in that phase of the cycle now which amounts to planning, a little more analysis and then a decision.
