9.09 An old favorite, Cathedral Rock at dawn

We have been too tired in the late afternoons for a sunset visit to Cathedral Rock—some might think lazy—some may be correct. ‘Let’s try sunrise at the rock instead,” we suggested to our editor. “What time does the sun rise in this part of the world?” She asked. We thought that was a fair question. The answer, 5am, was not what she wanted to hear. However, if nothing else, she is a trooper. At 4:45am when it was still quite dark, it seemed although we cannot be sure, that she wanted to ask: What happens if the sun should not rise today? Can we remain in bed?” We are pleased she did not vocalize that thought.
